Anne Franklin

Anne received her BFA from the University of the Fraser Valley in 2012, and has a professional background in administration and technology. Originally from Vancouver, she's lived throughout Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, and more recently relocated to Courtenay in 2021.
She works mainly in photography and acrylics, often painting colourful coastal scenes or photographing local flora and fauna. Her work focuses on the beauty of natural places, forms, flow, and light.
When not creating art, she can often be found in the woods or by the ocean, or at home by the fire with her two cats.
