A Fine Line
Fibre Arts Voice

Pearl Ellis Gallery Jul 17, 2018 – Aug 04, 2018

The Pearl Ellis Gallery presents Fibre Art Voices: A Fine Line, a fibre art and mixed media exhibition, from July 17 to August 4. A reception will be held Saturday, July 28 from 1:00-3:00 pm with artists in attendance. Everyone is welcome.

Fibre Art Voices is a small, spirited group of forward-thinking visual artists from the Comox Valley. They come together to support and encourage one another in expressing a creative voice through fibre. Diverse backgrounds in art and a passion for textiles enable the collective to work with an extensive variety of mediums and techniques to create individual stories, rich in design, colour and texture.

Through the love of textiles they challenge each other individually and as a group, and share the energy and inspiration gained from living in the West Coast environment.
Members of the group include Gail Tellett, Gayle Lobban, Gladys Love, Hennie Aikman, June Boyle, Karrie Phelps, Margaret Kelly and Pippa Moore.
