Pearl Ellis Gallery “Members’ People’s Choice Awards Show”

The Pearl Ellis Gallery will kick off its 37th summer show season with its tenth Member’s People’s Choice show and sale. This exhibition will run from Tuesday June 23rd, to Sunday, July 19th. The Gallery will be open to the public every day from 10am to 4pm, Sundays 1 – 4pm but will be closed Mondays. The gallery will be closed Wednesday, July 1st to celebrate Canada Day. There will be a “Reception” held Tuesday, June 23rd from 7 – 9pm and all are welcome to attend. It will be a great opportunity to meet the artists in the show, view the fabulous art and cast your vote.

At this show the public, as well as the members, will be encouraged to fill out a ballot selecting their favorite piece of artwork in the exhibit. We are looking forward to the participation of the public as well as the gallery membership. The voting will go on throughout the first part of the show and the ballots will be tabulated on Saturday, July 4th at 4pm. The winners will be posted at the gallery, on our website and in the local papers. The winning artist will receive a $100.00 gift certificate from Whyte’s Framing and a plaque. There will also be a draw made from all the ballots. The winner receives a gift certificate for 20% off on a piece of art that they purchase at the gallery during 2015.

Visitors can expect to see quality pieces of work by over 50 local artists, both new and established. The Pearl Ellis Gallery is always a great place to visit and to shop for that unique new piece of art for one’s home, business or as a gift. Members receive a 10% discount on purchases of art during the "opening reception" or "meet and greet" of each new show. New memberships are always available for $20.00.
