We’re excited to invite submissions for our 2025 open juried exhibitions! These spots will be awarded to an individual or group who presents a compelling proposal showcasing a unique perspective or a cohesive body of work.

We want to see your creative ideas that spark interest and conversation! Whether you’re an emerging artist or part of an established group, share what inspires you—be it themes of identity, community, or personal experiences—and how your work reflects that.

When you submit, tell us the story behind your art and how you envision presenting it to engage the audience. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your artistic voice and be part of our gallery community. We can’t wait to see your unique vision come to life!

There are four time slots available in 2025, and all are 25 days:

• February 4th to March 1st
• April 29th to May 24th
• July 22nd to August 16th
• October 14th to November 8th

The form will be open for submissions from October 1st to November 5th, and selections will be announced by November 29th.

The Pearl Ellis Gallery warmly invites artists to submit their work for our first concept show of 2025! This exhibition is all about celebrating the vibrant and diverse possibilities within digital and photographic mediums. We’re excited to see how you capture, interpret, and innovate in your art practice.

We’re looking for innovative and expressive pieces in the following categories:

• Digital Art: Original digital creations like digital paintings, graphic designs, 3D art, animations, or any imaginative digital media.
  
• Photography: Both traditional and digital photography, including photo essays, conceptual pieces, and creative manipulations.
• Mixed Media: Artworks that blend digital elements with physical media or intertwine photography with other artistic techniques.
• Video Art: Experimental films or digital videos that incorporate photography or digital imagery.
• About the Theme

Digital art and photography provide unique avenues to explore concepts, moments, and perspectives. This exhibition aims to showcase works that push the boundaries of traditional practices and highlight how technology and innovation shape the creation and perception of art.

We invite submissions that engage with:

• Innovative Digital Techniques: Discover how digital tools can create unique visual experiences—think digital painting, 3D rendering, glitch art, or even interactive installations.
• Conceptual Photography: We welcome pieces that tell stories or convey concepts beyond traditional photography—like staged photography or thought-provoking manipulations.
• The Intersection of Digital and Analog: Works that blend traditional methods with digital techniques, celebrating the harmony of old and new media.
• Abstract and Experimental Photography: Use photography to explore abstract concepts or innovative visual languages.
• Digital Storytelling: Artworks that tell stories or provoke thought through digital means, including multimedia pieces or narrative-driven works.
• Thematic Exploration: Pieces that delve into specific themes or social issues, offering commentary or insights into contemporary topics.

Submission Guidelines

Eligibility: This call is open to artists at all stages of their careers—whether you're emerging, mid-career, or established, we want to see your work!

• Artists may submit up to three pieces.
• All submissions must be original and not previously exhibited at The Pearl or its satellite galleries.

Submission Requirements:

• A brief artist statement (max 300 words) explaining how your work connects to the theme of Photography and Digital Art.
• Up to 5 images of your submitted works or a 5-minute video clip (for video art).
• A detailed description of each piece, including dimensions, medium, and any technical or installation needs.
• An artist bio (max 150 words).

Selection Process

A jury of curators, artists, and community members will review submissions, focusing on artistic merit, creativity, and alignment with the theme.
