Susan Sarada

Susan Sarada was raised in the Comox Valley, but as an adult she moved to Seattle for ten years, then Orcas Island for another ten years. She then spent 15 years in the Middle East, in Muscat, Oman, before moving back to Courtenay in the fall of 2022. She has a background in restaurants, dentistry and business management.
Susan works in acrylic, watercolor and encaustic and really enjoys playing with different materials, techniques and styles. She is also a photographer, with many of her photos taken in her travels around the world.
Volunteering at Pearl Ellis Gallery and on the Board has provided her with a way to give back to the community, and to meet like-minded people.
