Emerging Voices
Local High School Students Show

Pearl Ellis Gallery May 28, 2024 – Jun 22, 2024

The Pearl Ellis Gallery presents "Emerging Voices," an exhibition featuring the artwork of secondary students from Highland Secondary and Georges P. Vanier Secondary schools. Running from May 28 to June 22, this showcase highlights diverse mediums such as sculpture, paintings, photography, and mixed media. This exhibition highlights the passionate activity and dedication found within the art programs of both schools.

“People often remark that they are impressed at the high level of quality and creative depth these young artists are able to attain,” said Teresa Kachanoski, President of the Pearl Ellis Gallery board of directors. “We’re always proud of the students, their hard work and commitment, and look forward to sharing our annual high school show with the public once again.”

The opening reception is on May 30 from 6-8 pm, offering a chance to meet the artists and teachers. Admission is free.

Open Tuesday to Saturday, from 12 pm to 4 pm, and from June 1, 10 am to 4 pm.
